Summer Splendor:
Herbs, Harvest & Shared Tables

Join Farmer Jess Jager and her family on their 35-acre farm just north of Spokane, where regenerative farming is not just a method, it's a mission. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the care and intention Jess pours into the land every day. Take a guided tour through the farm’s evolving landscape: meet the sheep, pigs, and cows they raise with reverence, and explore the vibrant vegetable garden that supplies a 35-family CSA that truly supplies a weekly cornucopia. Jess’s background in eco-theology deeply informs how the Jagers build soil, nurture animals, and cultivate food with the belief that we must give back more than we take.

After the tour, guests will also explore the farm’s flourishing "food forest garden" alongside Dr. Casey Carr, learning about the botanical and medicinal uses of culinary herbs through fresh tastings, tinctures, and sensory exploration.

As the sun softens over the fields, gather around the table for a relaxed farmer-to-table dinner celebrating the abundance of midsummer. The menu will highlight seasonal ingredients harvested directly from the farm alongside thoughtfully prepared pasture-raised chicken and garden herbs. You can expect vibrant flavors, nourishing food, and the kind of summer evening that lingers long after the table is cleared.

By the evening’s end, you’ll understand why it’s called Your Friends Farm, and you just might feel like part of the family.
